Hey Tommy, I loved the WFAE on Brooks. Their closing will leave another hole in my heart. I still miss Zack’s, Price’s, Mr. C’s etc but this one really hurts.
Rush was one of my favorite bands back in the day. My all time favorite is Limelight. I remember seeing them when they were touring for Moving Pictures. Seeing Geddy Lee playing in person was mind-blowing! He is such an amazing bass player.
My friend and tea expert Aaron says “chai tea” is redundant. Whatever. I say it’s delicious.
And Geddy’s autobiography is most excellent. Piecing together his parents’, aunts’, uncles’, and grandparents’ experiences in ghettos and concentration camps during WWII was an incredible accounting of a horrific time.
That Doonesbury, oh shit, 100+ mph...
So good.
A SouthBound hoodie would solve the drafty coffee shop issue. Or maybe a Writing Shed winter hat. TT merch -- always be closing. And warm.
Merch is at the top of my list once I get this book out the door...

I agree on the pages, smooth edges are better!
Smooth edges are the ONLY way. :)
I also considered putting Limelight in there, along with Spirit of Radio. They're a lot better when I'm not hearing them 10 times a day :)
Thanks for the Geddy Lee link. I seriously miss Rush. And thanks for the Doonesbury. I also seriously miss the daily newspaper.
You're welcome! I miss that big Sunday paper like a missing tooth.

See, there is so much coffee/tea nerd stuff I don't know ...
I had heard just a little of Geddy's family history but it sounds like really powerful stuff. I'm glad he gets to tell the story.
