I spent my teenage years living in The Pas, a small town in Manitoba about 450 miles north of the Canada/US border. The juke box in the cafe where we hung out played the popular music of the day. However, I spent much of my time when not playing sports such as hockey and baseball in the pool room down the main street from that cafe. The juke box was filled with country music and that’s where I first heard Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, Kitty Wells, Patsy Cline and other greats. Today I have a Rockola juke box in my basement with their 45s ready to be played.

Because you love music so much, please read this article about how Spotify has hijacked music. We all know this is the case but here is some hard evidence. I am a singer songwriter and receive nothing for streaming on Spotify. https://www.honest-broker.com/p/the-ugly-truth-about-spotify-is-finally. The jukebox was a pure form of getting the music to everyone's ears (presuming the artists were actually paid by the labels!)
