Great take on Pat McCrory! Also was fortunate enough to sit across from Roger Angell at The Coffee House for lunch in NYC. I could talk baseball having grown up in Wilson, NC with the Wilson Tobs and knew Happy Chandler (Ken gov and baseball commissioner) but mostly listened with rapt attention while he regaled with story after story…a charming man and quite the entertainer!
