Cheers to the shades of summer that take moments to memories, including blockbusters from the nostalgia days. We are of the age that were of the age when this year's big cinematic carpet walks first appeared, (Top Gun, Indy), so there's no question!
You got me at “Sometimes I think all it takes to have amazing moments in your life is to put yourself in interesting places, and pay attention when you’re there.” So true. Eyes wide open. Had to share that with my grown kids.
I’m too lazy to look back, but did you recommend “The Violin Conspiracy”? Just finished listening to it (&I think it should be listened to for the rich dialogue). It was wonderful and eye opening. If it was you, thank you for the tip.
This is a fine example of why I always read your posts! Looking forward to the new book and the next trip to the shed.
Yes. Hell yes. Will go see the Indiana Jones movie.
It’s Indiana Freaking Jones. Of COURSE you’re going to see it.
And, yes, you are a brilliant writer. I’m still thinking about the inscription I am going to ask you for and how best to needle Joe a little. 😁
