this has nothing to do with beach music. I follow Eric Alteman on twitter. I refuse to call it X. He mentioned a podcast he started listening to called Rock and Roll in 500 songs. https://500songs.com/ it is a really deep dive. He goes way back to the roots of what we now know about Rock and Roll. He started the podcast in October of 2018. Plenty of episodes to listen to but they aren't very long. He gives you a lot of information on his web page I am listening on Spotify as they have all the episodes
You just know that there are people, possibly in Florida, who would bemoan the the choice of the Igbo to die instead of being appreciative of the opportunity to learn some skills.
Hey Tommy! I looked up Joe Posnanski’s book on Amazon and it says the release date is September 5. Maybe dates have changed?
It has not! I got it wrong. I sent out a correction email that you should have gotten. My apologies!
My mother loved Shag and “beach music”. I remember just a steady stream of Platters, Drifters, Tramps, etc records all summer long.
It's great stuff. There's a radio station around Charlotte that used to (maybe still does?) have a beach music program on the weekends.
