We've always used human names with our dogs and those names usually have an App State significance. For example, Annie Moore Leonard, after the great coach, Jerry Moore, Maggie Mountaineer Leonard, Bucky Boone Leonard, Winston Watauga Leonard, Henry Edwards Leonard (after the GOAT, Armanti Edwards). We treat our dogs like members of the family so it just seems right to us.

One of my all-time favorite writers (Tommy) interviewing another of my favorite writers (Sean Dietrich). They’re only missing Joe Posnanski to complete the trifecta.

They’re who I want to be when I grow up.

A couple years ago, I was actually in Pittsburgh -- enjoying breakfast at a diner with friends -- and it hit me that the pleasant feeling I was experiencing was akin to the sensation of somehow visiting the movie set of your all-time favorite film. There's no place like home. Even if we won't be buried there...

Tommy - I am ashamed to admit I only just got around to listening to your interview with Sean Dietrich. Just fascinating. Great job, as always.
