Some DOGLAND treats for Shed subscribers
A couple of DOGLAND events to start off this morning, and then some rewards for Writing Shed subscribers!
—As I hope you can see above, I’m doing an event TONIGHT in Concord, NC with my buddy Scott Fowler, longtime sports columnist for the Charlotte Observer. Those are the last couple of DOGLAND events I have planned for the time being … I have a few things scattered here and there into the fall, and I’ll be sure to let you know as the links go public.
So as I start to wind down the Love and Slobber Tour, I wanted to give all you Shedheads a treat or two for your patience and perseverance as I yammered about the book for months.

This Friday, I’ll be sending paid subscribers a deleted scene from DOGLAND—something I really enjoyed writing, but ended up taking out of the final manuscript. It’s a short profile of someone who got a dog that changed his life. I think it will resonate with a lot of y’all. If you’re not a paid subscriber yet, and you sign up by midnight on Thursday, you’ll get this bonus scene as well.
I’ll also be doing a Q&A for paid subscribers about DOGLAND—or anything else y’all would like to ask about! Send in your questions by next Wednesday, July 3, and I’ll publish the Q&A on July 5.
